Superstar Mascara Review

I’ve never quite seen before and after results on me like I have with this mascara. I’ve been so excited to try out the latest mascara from L’Oreal Paris – False Lash Superstar Mascara – I needed to share with you a few photos of how it looks on.

The difference between this and a conventional mascara is that it’s double ended, one end with a volumising white primer and the other end with a black top coat to lengthen. That’s all we want in a mascara, right!

To create my own Superstar look I also used the new Superstar Eye Liner that L’Oreal have also launched, a flexible felt tip that makes it effortless to apply a perfect flick.

Follow the steps below to create the Superstar look:

1. To start off I created a subtle smokey eye using a silver and black eyeshadow. I then applied the Superstar Liner close to the lash line and created a subtle feline flick in the outer corners of my eyes – this literally took a few seconds on each eye!

2. Next I applied the white primer on to my top lashes. Immediately I could see a difference in my lashes. They already looked thicker. I also quite enjoyed looking like the White Witch from Narnia!

3. Time to lengthen! I turned the wand around and applied the black top coat. I was weary at first that it wouldn’t full cover the white underneath but after only a few strokes it had totally concealed it and my lashes were jet black.

4. And the most important step of all? Flutter those lashes and pose like a superstar! Permission granted to take as many selfies until your hearts content…
