The Charlotte Tilbury Norman Parkinson Collection
Yesterday I attended the preview of the new Charlotte Tilbury collection in collaboration with Norman Parkinson.

Norman Parkinson was a legendary fashion photographer that photographed many Hollywood ‘Greats’ including Jerry Hall, pictured on the makeup bag and Filmstar Bronze and Glow below. Charlotte has created some beautiful products that display some of Norman Parkinson’s most iconic work.
Charlotte being the Queen of highlighting, the collection is glimmering with gorgeous shimmer and glow. Charlotte spoke us through all of the products, so we heard everything first hand.
One thing that really stood out that she said was ‘make up should help create a better version of you’. I couldn’t agree more with this. Make up shouldn’t be who you are, make up should enhance your features to let the best version of you shine.
FILMSTAR BRONZE & GLOW
I was given a makeover using all the products and I must say the one that totally blew me away was the Filmstar Bronze and Glow. It includes a creamy sun tan bronzer and a creamy highlighter. I’m always a little apprehensive when it comes to cream bronzers and highlighters that they won’t blend properly but this blends effortlessly and creates natural looking Summer skin.
COLOUR OF YOUTH
My other favourite is the Colour of Youth cream blush. The colour in the compact may look daunting but as soon as you smooth it onto the apples of your cheeks the colour melts and leaves a beautiful natural pinkness.
DREAMY GLOW HIGHLIGHTER
See, I told you the collection was full of shimmer and glow! This powder highlighter has a soft shimmer. I’ll be brushing this over my cheekbones for a dewy look, perfect for Spring.
MISS KENSINGTON
Finally, the lipstick. The collection includes two beautiful shades, 1975 Red and Miss Kensington. I’m definitely a Miss Kensington girl! It’s the perfect nude shade for everyday that will compliment many make up looks.
The limited edition collection will be available from July on charlottetilbury.com and Selfridges in August.
